Live from Las Vegas!

Hey all! I'm writing to you from the VERY HOT, exciting town of Las Vegas. I just tried to go and lay out for 20 minutes...I was counting down the last 5 cuz I was sweating so badly. But, I definately can't complain. I'm pretty bored though now that Chad has started his conference sessions.

Chad signed up for this Marriott Rewards program last time we were here. So, because of that, we both get a free breakfast buffet every single morning. It's good food too, like, pancakes, french toast, waffles, omelets, fresh fruit, breads, bacon, etc. We got the bill the first day and for the two of us it was 30 bucks!! Yay for 6 free breakfasts! This works out well for me, cuz since I have to pay for all my meals, unlike Chad, I can eat a big breakfast and just snack until supper. That's awesome!!

The room we are in is at the very end of the hallway. It's a long walk to everywhere, but at least we're getting exercise!! Anyway, there is suite right by our room and we're afraid that the people might be dead. Their privacy sign has been in their door non-stop since we got here Friday night. Although, their paper was gone this morning...that's a good sign, I guess.

What else...I finally gambled with 20 bucks last night. Lost it. Damnit. I did keep it for about an hour though. I doubled up twice...I should have stopped the second time. Winning 20 bucks is A HUGE deal for me right now, seeing as how I'm trying to make it the entire 10 days on about 160 bucks. I won't discuss Chad's stuff...I'm sure he'll let you all in on that at some point.

I think I'm gonna go eat some cold mashed potatoes with ranch from Chili's that I've been keeping in the fridge...with my fingers, I guess.
